We are thrilled to invite you to join us on our classic Cape Cod vacation, always a favorite, offering great weather, shopping, and so much more.  Our exciting itinerary includes a scenic Cape Cod Canal Cruise, providing stunning views and historical insights. A highlight of the trip will be a ferry excursion to Martha’s Vineyard, where you will have the opportunity to admire the iconic brightly colored gingerbread houses & indulge in souvenir shopping!  Another must-see is the Whydah Pirate Museum, where we delve into the untold story of the Whydah and its crew.  You will discover fascinating artifacts recovered from Cape Cod Waters ranging from cannons and pistols to buttons, buckles and genuine pirate treasure including gold, silver and pieces of eight (Spanish coins).  For a truly unique experience, we will board the Cape Cod Central Railroad for a journey through the natural beauty and rich history of the Cape.  This rail-only excursion promises picturesque views as we pass by tranquil marshes, cranberry bogs, rolling sand dunes and other charming locations.

During our week in Maine, we will enjoy great shopping in picturesque Perkins Cove followed by a Lobster Boat, where we will see traps being hauled and lobsters caught first hand.  In Freeport, we will visit the famous LL Bean flagship store and other great local souvenir shops.  We will take a ride on a vintage trolley from the early 1900s and explore exhibits at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, which is known as the world’s First & Largest Electric Railway Museum in the world.  York’s Wild Kingdom offers the opportunity to see many exotic animals in natural habitats, hand-feeding ducks, goats, and deer, and more.

We are off to enjoy some of Vermont’s most popular attractions. We will enjoy a guided tour at Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory and, of course, enjoy a sample of their delicious and famous ice cream. At Cold Hollow Cider Mill, we will enjoy their legendary Cider Donuts and freshly pressed apple cider.  We may even catch them pressing cider using traditional, old-time methods.  Experience the beauty of Lake Champlain with a relaxing boat cruise, including a stop at Lake Champlain Chocolates.  In Shelburne at the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, we will take a fascinating factory tour and witness firsthand how these beloved teddy bears are brought to life.  A visit to Shelburne Farms, to discover this country’s premiere dairy farm & farm life museum.  Join us to experience the best of Vermont.

At Lake Winnipesauke, we will experience breathtaking views, rich history and the shimmering waters of the lake, all set within the splendor of the Lakes Region.  Next, we’ll head to Funspot for some classic arcade fun, including Skee-Ball and other favorite games.  We will then indulge in Make-Your-Own-Sundaes at the famous Kellerhaus.  A visit to Zeb’s General Store in North Conway is a MUST to enjoy the nostalgia of a general store of yesteryear.  And don’t forget our day at Clark’s Trading Post, where we will enjoy the Bear Show, a train ride aboard the White Mountain Central Railroad, be amused by Wolfman and his antics and have time for the gift shop.

Join us for an unforgettable journey through American history, set against the backdrop of the stunning East Coast foliage!  Our “American History Highlights” trip will take you to iconic landmarks, monuments, and national treasures.  In Philadelphia we will visit the award-winning National Constitution Centre, the first museum dedicated to the US Constitution.  We will explore Independence National Historical Park, home of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776.  And of course, no visit to Philadelphia is complete without a photo with the Rocky Statue (Sylvester Stallone) and enjoying a famous Philly Cheesesteak!  At Valley Forge National Historic Park, we will see the encampment where Washington and his troops endured the harsh winter of 1777-1778, along with Memorial Arch, the Grand Parade, and the Washington Memorial Chapel.  In Gettysburg, we will tour President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s nearby farm, which served as a weekend retreat and a meeting place for world leaders.  We will also visit the Gettysburg National Military Park; the site of three days of fighting that marked a pivotal turning point in the Civil War and explore the impressive Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Centre.  Finally, we will experience the rich history of West Point with a tour of its Visitor’s Center and Museum, Old Cadet Chapel, Trophy Point, Battle Monument, West Point Cemetery and more, enjoying over 135 exhibits reflecting its diverse history.
