Get ready for an exciting Fall Weekend at Rocking Horse Dude Ranch in upstate New York!  We will have a fantastic time with a variety of activities.  You can look forward to horseback riding, swimming in the outdoor pools and water slides (weather permitting), and access to the indoor pool and indoor waterpark. For relaxation enjoy the heated outdoor Jacuzzi (available year-round).  We will also have fun with BINGO, a bonfire with a sing-a-long, marshmallow roasts and wagon-rides.  Get ready for delicious country-cooked meals, hors d’oeuvres and festive foods at the Fall Festival, complete with great entertainment each night!  Yeehaw!

Join us for an unforgettable journey through American history, set against the backdrop of the stunning East Coast foliage!  Our “American History Highlights” trip will take you to iconic landmarks, monuments, and national treasures.  In Philadelphia we will visit the award-winning National Constitution Centre, the first museum dedicated to the US Constitution.  We will explore Independence National Historical Park, home of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776.  And of course, no visit to Philadelphia is complete without a photo with the Rocky Statue (Sylvester Stallone) and enjoying a famous Philly Cheesesteak!  At Valley Forge National Historic Park, we will see the encampment where Washington and his troops endured the harsh winter of 1777-1778, along with Memorial Arch, the Grand Parade, and the Washington Memorial Chapel.  In Gettysburg, we will tour President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s nearby farm, which served as a weekend retreat and a meeting place for world leaders.  We will also visit the Gettysburg National Military Park; the site of three days of fighting that marked a pivotal turning point in the Civil War and explore the impressive Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Centre.  Finally, we will experience the rich history of West Point with a tour of its Visitor’s Center and Museum, Old Cadet Chapel, Trophy Point, Battle Monument, West Point Cemetery and more, enjoying over 135 exhibits reflecting its diverse history.

Enjoy a relaxing fall foliage trip along beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee.  After the train ride, we will enjoy a traditional turkey dinner at Hart’s Turkey Farm – YUM!  YUM!   Enjoy turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, squash, cranberry sauce, roll and butter, water and of course apple crisp with whip cream.  Sleepy heads beware… this trip features an early morning pick-up!
